Stewards
 The management of meetings at Harvest Church is no small task; each Sunday meeting requires at least 6/8 people to be involved. There needs to be a number of stewards and welcome people about the building to make any event run smoothly, especially when the auditorium is in use, (Saxon Room), depending on the number of people at the meeting. The team runs on a rota system and we meet 15 minutes before each meeting to prepare and pray together. This means arriving approximately 45mins. before the start of each meeting so that the team can be briefed as to any special requirements and to pray.
Being a steward and or welcomer is a very important area of service. As a steward and or welcomer you are often the first person that people meet when coming into church. Stewarding and welcoming is a great way to serve God and the body of the church;it allows you to get to know people in the church. |
