What is The Marriage Course?

A series of seven sessions designed to help any couple enrich their relationship. It is an opportunity to have a candlelit meal together and look at the important aspects of your marriage.

Who is it for?

It is for any couple who want to build (or rebuild) a strong and lasting relationship. rings

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been together for less than two years or more than thirty.

The course, while based on Christian principles, is just as helpful for any couple whether or not they have a Christian faith or church background.

If you have a strong marriage this course will help you make it even better and will reinforce your good habits.

If, on the other hand, your marriage is in difficulty, the course will help provide you with very practical tools to help you work through the issues. Some couples who are separated have used the course as a way of trying to get back together.

What is involved?

Each of the 7 evenings begins with a candlelit supper at tables for two. Then there is the opportunity for couples to talk privately about important issues that are often swept under the carpet in the rush of daily life, using information and guidelines from DVD presentations.

There is no group work involved at any stage of the course.

What topics are covered?

·   Building strong foundations
·   Learning to communicate effectively
·   Resolving conflict safely
·   Healing past hurt with forgiveness
·   The impact of family – past and present
·   Good sex
·   Knowing better how to make each other feel loved

What will it cost?

A contribution of £30 per person is suggested to cover the cost of all the meals and materials.
