Church Team

Simon Corlett (Pastor & Elder)
In 1989 I sat for the very first time and listened to a preacher talk about Jesus. I was gripped by every word that the preacher, Billy Graham, spoke. I had this overwhelming desire to know more about this Jesus. At the end of his talk he said he wanted to pray for people who wanted to live for Jesus and have a personal relationship with God. Before I knew what I was doing I found myself at the front waiting to be prayed for. As I looked around I also saw my mum, dad and brother. As a family we all heard the call of God that night, we all responded and our lives were never the same again. A few weeks later we were baptised together and began our new lives with God.
I found that overnight my life suddenly had meaning and purpose. My passion to live a life serving God just grew and grew, I wanted everyone to know about Jesus and what a difference He makes to life. I wanted to spend my life serving God full- time in some way or another. As I look back over my life to this point it is amazing to see how God has been preparing and leading the way. I now have the privilege of being the Pastor of Harvest Church. Following Jesus is exciting, often unpredictable and sometimes difficult but how boring and miserable life must be without Jesus! I am married to Linda, who is Welsh and beautiful. We met whilst I was doing my teaching degree in Newport South Wales. We have 4 beautiful daughters.
Linda currently works for Hampshire Police and does an amazing job supporting me and the girls. I am the Pastor of Harvest Church and also a retained Firefighter in Alton.
