Good Friday Walk Of Witness 2011

The Good Friday Walk Of Witness took place on the lovely spring morning of the 23rd April. Around 250 people from churches throughout the town walked through the street with the Cross leading the way. Commencing at St Lawrence's church and visiting All Saints, Alton Methodist Church and The Harvest Church at the Maltings. At each venue the worshippers listened to the Easter story from various passages of scripture, sang a hymn and joined others in prayers.
